The writer and performer Johannes Schrettle (zweite liga für kunst und kultur) sent me this text (english below):
Zärtlichkeit mit B
ein bunker, wo menschen versammelt sind, die nie mehr rauskommen. es schaut ein bisschen aus nach einem französischen film, ein paar obszöne details sind ständig im blickfeld. dann taucht auf einmal unter einer bettdecke ein kollektiv auf:
HEY! ICH HABE IN DEN 80ern SCHON MAL DARAN GEDACHT EINEN BAUM ZU PFLANZEN. HEUTE HABE ICH EIN UNTERNEHMEN. DER BUNKER IST MEINE ZIELGRUPPE MEIN PUBLIKUM UND MEINE GROSSE LIEBE. IRGENDWANN WERDE ICH WIEDER AUFTAUCHEN ABER DANN ALS ZÄRTLICHES MONSTER. IN DER KOMBÜSE. AM JAKOMINIPLATZ. IM BRUNNEN. AM ZENTRALFRIEDHOF. EIN PAAR SCHRÄGE SOUNDS.
Tenderness with B
A bunker, where people are gathered, who never will get out again. It looks a bit like in a french movie, all the time there are some obscene details in the fileld of vision. Suddently a collective emerges from under a bedspread:
“Hey! I have thought about planting a tree already in the 1980s. Today I have a business company. The bunker is my target audience my public and my great love. Eventually I will emerge again but then as a tender beast. In the galley. At the Jakomini square. In the fountain. At the central cemetary.” A few crooked sounds.
Made within the Tonto-project “Bohren in Welt” (Drilling into World) at Forum Stadtpark, Graz, 2012.
A sequence of drawings, combining fragments of texts by Marco Fitzthum and by the performancegroup “zweite liga für kunst und kultur” with fragments of images out of the pools available in the setting of the multistage project “Bohren in Welt”. For details go to “Bohren in Welt” on the Tonto webpage.
Two pages for the Novo Doba Festival Catalogue 2011.
The story is partly stolen from an eight year old boy, whose name I have forgotten and cannot find out no more. He was in a workshop I did in Fehring, in the Southeast of Styria, Austria. Characters and the story basically he invented. My interpretation of the story is dedicated to this little philosopher…

David also organized an exhibition at the Kabinett Passage (MQ21, Vienna) – each of the 34 artists had to do a portrait and a landscape in the dimensions of 10×7,5cm. I did these two collages.
